Is this covered by insurance?

I'm not an RMT, so I can't be put through RMT benefits,
BUT some people have other wellness coverage, so I always recommend checking with your benefits to see if they will cover Thai Massage.

What do I wear?

Whatever you want. Comfy clothes you can move in.

Gym clothes, leggings, sweats, whatever works.

Feel free to bring socks or a sweater in case you get cool!

Do I have to be flexible for this kind of massage?

Absolutely not!
You are here to get a good stretch!
Come as you are, whether you are cirque du soleil stretchy or can't reach your toes, we will get you feeling good and open.

Who is this style of massage best for?

The sweet thing about this practice is it is
SO adaptable. We ALL need a good stretch + to release stress, tension + knots. I have massaged people aged 15-89+
Men + women. People who sit at desks, drivers, bartenders, cross fitters, gym goers, moms who do it all.
If you look at the videos I post and think "that looks like it feels good" then we can make this practice work for you.

Can I still get a Thai massage if I'm pregnant?

Yes, absolutely.
Generally, it's advised not to add in any new modalities in the first trimester, but YOU KNOW YOUR BODY BEST.
We communicate, we find what works for you, and we tailor the massage to suit your needs.
While you are pregnant we won't be working on flexibility or anything too wild, but just sweet, gentle stretch and deep relaxation.

What's the differences between Thai and Swedish massage?

Thai massage uses mainly compression and stretches, where Swedish massage uses gliding, kneading and tapping etc.
Thai massage is generally done lying on the ground on a mat, fully clothed, no oil, where Swedish massage is on a table, with oil, with the client undressed to their comfort level.
Both have the same goal of relieving tension and pain, and just overall feeling good and relaxed

How often do you recommend coming?

Generally, monthly is good for a tune up. Weekly is better if you want to see more results or work on a specific area/problem. Once we have solved the problem, we work down to monthly or bi monthly.

Everyone is different and has different needs!
